Dr. Nicholas Joseph Janocko, MD

Went to Weill Cornell Hospital to be seen in the ED dept for a possible seizure or stroke. The team in ED was so kind, attentive and professional. They treated me with care and respect. When I advanced to be admitted, I had the unfortunate hand off to Dr. Nicolas Janocko. He's more concerned with being right than listening to the patient. He's speaks down to people and has no regard for your health or overall well being. When a doctor tells you he doesn't care if you like his decision and you just have to live with it...RUN! I have filed a complaint with the hospital and will let all medical (state and federal) know of his unprofessional ways. He should have informed me that I had a right to have my case heard before he unsafely dismissed me but chose to keep quite. If you're looking for a kind and knowledgeable doctor, keep looking. Shame on Weill Cornell. Do better.

Friendly, thorough, helpful. Carefully examined test results to discover overlooked anomalies. Made a doctor's office visit a pleasant experience.

Dr. JANOCKO is wonderful . He has great energy you don't feel rushed. He goes over everything within your health and will work toward preventing any recurring health issue and help change things moving foward in your life. I am now more knowledgeable about a few things since he has been my Neurologist and I want to thank him for being an informative and supportive doctor. Keep up the great work Dr. Janocko stay strong and stay connected, and continue to conquer.

had another visit with Dr Janocko and he was very helpful - scheduled a test for me that otherwise I would have had to wait another 3 months to get. He is thorough and listens well/is responsive.

All went well. Very short wait time and Dr. Janocko spent a good amount of time going over my history. I definitely did not feel rushed or uncomfortable asking lots of questions. Glad I found Dr. Janocko.

Dr. J is a soft spoken neurologist who shows knowledge and sensitivity about his patient. and the issues He explains his findings with care that the patient understands the diagnosis and treatment plan.

Dr. Janocok was the one who did the scan and find out how severe my stroke was and he show it through the MRI and provide me with full guidance to minimize the damage and the effect of the strock . He prescribed the right medication and always referred me to the right test exam to keep me above the situation from the doctor point of view. He and his assistant Dr. Shivana Bariani will keep continuing monitoring my situation and to provide me with the right consultation about my stroke.

On my very first visit with Dr. Janocko he took time to explain my condition to me and sat with me reviewing my MRI showing me the areas of concern and what that meant to me as a patient. He is personable and compassionate I'm fortunate to have him as my doctor.
