Dr. Nicholas David Kennedy, MD

I have been a nephrology patient for 7 years and had a sudden dangerous spike in my protein labs. My Nephrologist order a kidney biopsy and elected to have Dr Kennedy perform the risky procedure as he has done this procedure many times with excellent outcomes for his patients. I was only given a twilight dose of meds and I was aware of what was transporting throughout the procedure. Dr Kennedy warned me of the high probability of a bleed as the kidney is the most vascular organ in the body and made certain I was well informed. My husband had left the room before I could tell him once more that Inloved him so Dr waited before proceeding and had the nurse retrieve my husband from the waiting room to kiss me once more for my peace of mind. As warned I did have a slight bleed which he corrected and I am well enough to be released only 24 hours after the completion of my biopsy that is to his skill. He was quick to stop the bleed and so I did not require a transfusion , but was only… ordered total bed rest until my HGB returned to normal. I am thankful for Dr Brignol for choosing such an excellent and knowledgeable Radiologist to do my procedure and grateful for his quick action. I highly recommend him both for his skill , compassion and bedside manner.
