Dr. Nicholas Peter Kondelis, MD

I started going to Dr. kondelis when I hurt my back at work. I am very grateful that I came across Dr. Kondelis and his methods because they have been so helpful and effective to getting me moving again. I was treated like family by him and when a doctor does that you know they truly care about your health and wellness. I can’t stress it enough that Dr. Kondelis is the ONLY back/pain specialist that you need to be seeing!

I began seeing Dr. Kondelis following a failed back fusion. Dr. Kondelis and his staff made me feel like they care about getting me better. Dr. Kondelis never gave up trying to make me better throughout the many procedures he performed on me. Dr. Kondelis saved my life and has allowed me to get back to living a normal life. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Kondelis.

He disregards any questions or concerns that you have. His bedside manner is that of a Dr working at a Maximum Security PRISON.

Dr. Kondelis has far exceeded all of my expectations. Unfortunately, I’ve had multiple procedures and surgeries to relieve my lower back, legs, groin and hip pain. After these surgeries/procedures with my former surgeons and specialists, I was still experiencing severe and debilitating pain. From day one with Dr. Kondelis and his team, I knew things would be different. Dr. Kondelis spent more time with me during my first appointment than all my previous doctors had combined. Dr. Kondelis’s care and attention to detail is second to none. If it weren’t for Dr. Kondelis and his amazing team, I wouldn’t be on track to getting my life back to normal. Dr. Kondelis is the 5th pain doctor that I have seen in the past 15 years. He is by far the best. I have CPS and severe lumbar spine issues. On my first visit he spent a lot of time with me and devised a plan of procedures to lower my pain level. His office and staff are warm and welcoming. Make an appointment, you'll be glad you did.

Did more harm than good after ten years. Forgot the oath "to do no harm".

I was having increasing levels of pain and increasing frequency. I was afraid something serious was wrong with me. I went to several doctors that couldn't tell me what was wrong, then a friend referred me to Dr. Kondelis. He knew immediately the cause of these stabbing pains. He was very reassuring and gentle, and through a simple procedure, he immediately stopped the pain and then put me on a long term plan to prevent these episodes. Knowing the cause was so helpful. Having an effective treatment provided relief so that I could function again. I would highly recommend Dr. Kondelis and his staff, they are wonderful.

Believe it or not I found Dr. Kondelis with Advanced Pain Consultants in the Yellow Pages...yes, I used an actual book with pages! :) I think it was 2009/2010 when I needed to find someone who could help me figure out what was wrong with my back and spine. Dr. Kondelis was local, he was accepting new patients, and willing to listen to my questions as well as concerns and I've been his patient ever since. His knowledge and expertise in the field of pain has been certainly tested with me on several different issues, from my back/spinal problems, to migraines, to pulled/pained muscles in several areas (knees, legs, neck, back, shoulders, arms etc.) just to name a few. Dr. Kondelis as well as his staff are very thorough in their examinations which ensure the best possible care for treating his patients. I'd also like to mention that he goes that extra mile for his patients when their overall well-being is concerned. He helped petition BCBS by each of us submitting in writing reasons… for requesting additional migraine treatments outside the normal frequency of what is allowed due to my chronic situation. And much to my surprise the insurance company accepted our request. I can't thank him enough for supporting me in that endeavor as well as helping me to continue managing my back and spinal pain for a better quality of life.

Dr. Kondelis used to be an awesome doctor until he moved to Oakbrook and got a business manager. Now no matter what I say he chooses not to hear me. I've tried patiently to talk with him and for the past 8 months he doesn't listen to my concerns or needs. He put me on meds I didn't want to be on. I'm moving on and getting back control of my life and getting a doc who actually listens and cares.

saw him for many years once he moved to Oak Brook it was bad he was more concerned about his practice then me some of the things he said that were wrong with me were not true more concerned about the medicine he gave then how you really had to take it he clearly does not understand as needed.
