Dr. Nicholas Kubik, MD

I am 6 weeks out from total reverse shoulder replacement with bicep repair. Dr Kubik has been wonderful. As soon as this one is healed and I've gained some strength back i will be having the other shoulder done. Dr Kubik will be doing that one also. He is a very good doctor. I would definitely recommend.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kubik for many years. He is always very thorough in his exam & will do everything possible to determine a diagnosis. This visit was no different. As a surgeon, he is excellent. Over the past 17 years I have had 4 arthroscopic surgeries & 3 joint replacement surgeries, all successful. Several of my family members have also become patients of his. I highly recommend Dr. Kubik!

I am a recently retired cardiologist and had the pleasure of getting to know Dr. Kubik while I was still working. I just saw him in his office for an evaluation of shoulder discomfort related to multiple abnormalities on an MRI that was ordered by an orthopedic specialist I had been seeing at one of the two “big” healthcare systems in Pittsburgh. I was seeking a greater understanding and clarity regarding management options than I was getting from the “downtown” team. I am pleased to report that Dr. Kubik provided me with a clear explanation and guidance based on his years of clinical and surgical experience. It is this very important connection that I found critical to managing my patients that Dr. Kubik displayed in his approach to evaluation and management of my case, one that prioritizes shared-decision making in charting a course going forward.

Expect to wait for appointment because he will take his time with every patient and make sure your questions and concerns are properly addressed! He is a brilliant surgeon and both total knee replacements are perfect from immediate recovery to now a year later! I recommend Dr. Kubik to anyone needing a knee or shoulder replacement.

Dr. Kubik was very articulate in explaining my options and made me very comfortable. I felt safe in the path he was leading me for my situation.

Dr. Kubik took his time at my appt. and explained my options for the severe osteoarthritis of my knee. Even showed me my X-rays. Was given a cortisone injection and have marked relief. Already told several people on how his attention and caring manner are so evident.

I’m very pleased with Dr. Kubik. He has done a double knee surgery for back in June 2007 and he just checked them and they are still working out well. He recently did a reverse shoulder replacement back on September 7, 2022 and that is working great. So I have to say all in all he does great work and cares about his patients. Spends ample time with you and explains everything the best he can and so that you understand everything he is saying and whatever he needs to do to help you out. Would recommend him to everyone I know and say he is the best at his job.

Excellent social skills, better than most surgeons have a reputation for. Great help in decision to have knees resurfaced. Highly recommended.

I’ve seen Dr Kubik for my knees in the past. I had surgery on one and received a shot in the other- that was over a year ago and I couldn’t be happier. Now I’m returning to have my shoulder/ rotator cuff looked. You can expect to wait anywhere from 30-90 minutes for your appointment, but he will answer any questions you may have, and you will not feel rushed during your appointment with him

courteous, accurate , not in a rush, appears interested in what is wrong with me. Overall great doctor.
