Dr. Nicholas Aris Laryngakis, MD

Dr. Laryngakis is exactly the kind of doctor everyone needs. He is patient, kind, and very thorough. I’m a female in my 20s who suffered for years in pain and was always misdiagnosed and dismissed by other doctors with how I was feeling. Dr. Laryngakis took the time needed, he really listened to me, ordered all the right tests, and even double checked those tests to make sure he was targeting the correct area. I ended up needing surgery which made me absolutely terrified in addition to the concern I initially felt with having a male doctor, but he reassured me that he would do everything he could for a successful outcome and he did just that. He took extra precaution and care with my surgery and it resulted in a successful outcome. It’s been a few months since my surgery and I can happily report that I’m healthy and feel no pain. He helped me get a piece of my life back and for that I’ll be forever grateful for him.

We reach the autumn of our years and are confronted with changes to our male bodies. I am so fortunate to find not only an eminently qualified physicians but one that is compassionate and understanding. Two qualities that make Dr. Laryngakis stand apart from other physicians in this day of factory medicine is that I have never felt there was a time limit to his care and he never prescribes any drugs without an in-depth discussions of their pros and cons. I especially appreciate the latter as I always research drugs and avoid them if possible.
