Dr. Nicholas Joseph Leggiero, MD

I like Dr. Nicholas Joseph Leggiero but Carolyn and his office manager are the worst. The dropped the ball on my medical leave papers, REFUSE to let me speak with the Dr claiming “he wont talk to you” and refuse to upload the forms to the state of NJ as they are supposed to. They two women told me to come to the back room alone, only to berate and try to intimidate me. They would not let me talk and would roll their eyes at me when i tried explaining the situation. Then, the office manager YELLED AT ME that i had to let this carolyn talk. It is almost 30 days that im on leave and if they dont send it in to the state in a few days time, then i have to start over and i will be in a horrible position paying my bills. I will be calling again. If they continue to neglect, i will be forced to file a complaint against the office staff

I am 59 years old and the Doctor is the best I've ever seen, to put it bluntly he saved my life, when my son passed I was distraught beyond words and the Doctor saw me through that time. He never rushes a patient and runs a very smooth office.

I had my first visit today and Dr Leggiero was awesome. He spent 25 mins with me just listening, getting to know me, and answering my questions. I am glad I picked him as my new PCP.

Have been a patient on and off for years as I moved back and forth into the area. Dr. Leggiero is excellent. He takes a broad perspective on understanding your overall health profile. He and his staff care and are attentive. Very good about being on time for appointments and fitting you in at last minute if you need to see a doctor (e.g., for that sinus infection you have to deal with). They patiently answer questions. They are very professional which I appreciate.

I was impressed at the very short time I waited.He entered the room with a smile and his hand extended to shake.That told me that he was friendly. He asked me how I was and what he could help me with that day? I will continue to see him and tell my friends and family what a kind, friendly, knowledgeable doctor he is.

Never met so many rude people under 1 roof. They have a sign hanging that payment is due once services are rendered, first question is has you insurance changed, the second question is how are you paying before even sitting down. I've been there twice in 10 years, now 4 times for a respiratory infection in 3 months. I've asked to have the dr call me and they have that rude nurse Denise call instead 2 days later and basically tells you to go somewhere else. Time to look elsewhere for a better, more professional staff.

Dr's are great. Front desk not so much. Yovonne is extremely rude and not tactful. The front desk should serve as a buffer, with a friendly courteous staff. This office needs a new office manager and staff.

I have been a patient there for a number of years. I have seen all of the doctors, and have not had any problems. I agree that the office staff are not friendly and come across as not caring - very disappointing. What I have noticed in the recent months is that the waiting room and the exam rooms are not clean which makes one think they are not sanitary. I realize the waiting room gets lots of traffic - but it NEVER looks clean and the chairs need a good cleaning or maybe replaced. The floors in the exam rooms never look clean - even when I have been the first patient of the day. I have even considered switching to a different medical facility because it bothers me when I go in for an appointment to see it look so unsanitary for a doctors office. I have recently recommended Lakeview Medical to a friend, but I think she will be turned off just with the appearance of the facility. This place should be cleaned up - appearances do make a difference.

I had tests done a week ago. After having the front desk tell me on Thursday and Friday that the results are in and the doctor will call me with results, Monday comes along with still no phone call. I call them back and the same person who told me on Thu and Fri that they HAD the results, now lie and say that they DO NOT. I called where the tests were done and they have records of sending results. As I get sicker, I cannot get anyone to tell me what is wrong, and now I need to pick up the results and interpret them myself, and waste time trying to find a new doctor. LOUSY, LOUSY PLACE.

I have been going here for years - seen a revolving door of doctors and staff. MOST of the doctors have been competent, but I agree with most of the reviews - the staff is horrible. The phone, desk & nursing group is always unfriendly and rushing you. I also was asked to give my credit card information for "potential" unpaid insurance charges and refused. I honestly would NOT recommend this medical center to a friend.
