I waited 2 months for an appointment and after filling out the preliminary paperwork I was asked to step in a closed room for eye diagnostics. The room had just been sprayed heavily with am aerosol disinfectant. Upon closing the door, and starting diagnostics with a young lady, my asthma kicked in and I spoke of my difficulty breathing and could they open a window temporarily ( 56 degrees and sunny outside). The young lady said no and stared me down. I asked for a minute and exited the room leaving the door open for it to air out. After a bit, I tried again and was still unable to breathe with loud visible wheezing. The young lady again stared me down and I said I would have to leave. She brusquely asked how I paid and spoke of a refund. No goodbyes on her part. I am concerned about the use of aerosol disinfectant in a closed room but I am more concerned about this level of lack of concern in a health practitioner’s office. Though I never made it to see the doctor I am aware that the… office is a team and is as important to a good practice as the doctor himself. I would not recommend this eye clinic.

First time visit. I was very pleased with the professionalism shown to me. Staff was courteous, explained testing and I was never left in a room, and forgotten, which happens frequently at an office. Dr. Mittica was excellent, explained condition and answered my questions. The reassurance was he gave me with options really helped. He speaks at laymen level. They warned me about the 1-2 HR wait, but it was worth it, and didn't seem that long. What a beautiful office, decor makes you feel at home. Love the room with the Virgen de Guadalupe.

Dr. Mittica accurately diagnosed my condition before my primary care physician did. The accurate diagnosis was accurate and saved my life. I owe him my sincerest debt of grattitude.
