Dr. Nicholas Alexandrovich Ravvin

Let me tell you a story that has made me more depressed full of anxiety than I was before I have never met this doctor but he looked like a real good choice when I was in search of an appointment close to where I live. I ended up leaving my house at 10a for an 11a appointment from Hamburg got lost because I was given wrong directions from someone but the worse is yet to come. Thank God for the West Seneca Police officer who had a hard time finding Dyke Street but followed me as close to where I needed to be. I tried calling the office and this real nice lady told me the phones had issues so I could not get through when I called several times between 10:15 and 10:30a but no luck. If the phones were working I would of been able to speak to someone and make it there on time. This lady was super nice, she went to Ravvin and asked told him about my situation and I was told he bills on an hourly basis. I understand that but again, I could not get through due to their phone issues and… he did NOT waive the 300 charge to someone who needs help because I lost my full time job as a professor at Medaille University for 25 years. Then I was told he would not see me after I pay off my payment plan!! Seriously, even though I never met him nor do I know him as an overall person. All I can say is I will NEVER go to someone like that. I had plenty of other bad things happen to me over the summer and he said he cared for his patients but obviously in my case he did not. Money was more important to him than helping me. This is why the mental health industry is always never respected by many professionals and society in general. If it was cancer or heart attack, everyone is there but for some who went through a heart attack due to all the bad things that happened I felt no empathy at all. Thank you though to the wonderful staff. Now, I am worse than before going to see him. I would of been there on time if your phones were working. Doc bring yourself down from the clouds. Remember, patients like me and many others are first. What a nice first review but it was not my fault. By the way on your site it said missed intake appointments 200 not that is a lot better but my reason about today, November 8th was not my fault. Thank you
