I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes. before I saw the Dr.. He treated me like a drug addict..and never even examined my complaint of eye infection..off handed prescribed some antibiotic..and told me I was getting any drugs from him..I was humiliated and very uncomfortable iw ill not bein going back,,

Was impressed with the doctor's interpersonal skills (his ability to communicate complicated medical concepts simply and succinctly and in "layman's language"). I would highly recommend Dr. Rico to my friends and family members. Moreover his staff (including his Physician's Assistant, Paul, and office staffer, Yvonne) have gone "above and beyond" what would be normally expected of them. Specifically they spent at least one hour over multiple days attempting to get Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield to cover my medication. They were eventually successful in that regard, even though it became readily apparent that the insurance company was merely trying to do everything possible to simply deny coverage of this prescription (including keeping them on hold for inordinate periods of time, and constantly transferring them to another "insurance agent" to get required pre-approval). Their efforts were greatly appreciated.

Dr. Rico is a great doctor and spends plenty of time with patients. I am currently looking for a new family physician due to the difficulty in getting in for an appointment, It takes about 3 weeks for a general check up appointment or medication refill. In the case of acute illness, might as well go to a walk in clinic, it's impossible.

Only issue at all is when your appointment time is at a certain time and you have to wait 30-45 just to be put in a room then wait another 15-20 before being seen it gets frustrating sometimes. Over all a great family dr wouldn't change doctors for nothing he's great at what he does but just wish the waiting wasn't so long. I would give him a 9 out of 10 rating only because of the waiting otherwise he'd get a 10 in my book

Dr. Rico is fantastic. The only negative is that usually, your wait in the office is pretty bad. However, this is due to the fact that he spends as much time with each patient as needed. Never do you feel he is hurrying you along. He really listens and discusses.

Dr. Rico is a very good Doctor. He takes time with you and is very caring.I would highly recommend him as your family doctor.

Dr, Rico always takes his time to talk and go over any questions. He always tries to do what is best for you.
