Dr. Silvestri has a wonderful bedside manner. I have seen roughly a dozen doctors for chronic pain associated with nerve damage in my spine Dr. Silvestri takes time to listen, researches the newest medications, has a strong recollection of my symptoms, and shares my pursuit to enhance quality of life. During the past three years that I have been a patient, he has taken time to read my other doctor's notes and reviewed my diagnostic tests thoroughly in addition to performing his own medical exam of my condition. He has also Dr. Silvestri is someone I trust and recommend highly.

I have seen Dr, Silvestri for the past several years, whereby my Muscular Dystrophy has progressed to a level where I have been forced to apply for Disability. He is always pleasant and professional. He has an excellent bedside manner and gently encourages me to look more into the side effects of the MD. He is concerned about my social life in an appropriate manner and reminds me to focus on the quality of life, not the negative effects. Excellent doctor. Diagnosed my rare condition very quickly, when a diagnosis eluded others. Caused a scary condition to not be frightening at all, as he told me what to expect at every stage. Knew the cure, executed on it, and I'm recovering nicely. Great doctor.

new patients have to wait longer for an appointment, but once you are established if you explain the seriousness of your condition, Dr. Silvestri will make time to see or speak with you. His office does not book too many patients at one time so you do not have to wait long to see him, and he has time to speak with you.

It took 4 tries to find a neurologist who understands myasthenia gravis. Dr. Sylvestri is wonderful! Very knowledgable, kind and caring. He listens to me and explains things clearly. I recommend him highly.

I saw Dr. Cowan for my seizures for years until he left and he sent me to Dr. Silvestri. He told me that I would like him, but if not to let him know and he would get me someone else. Dr. Silvestri has always been able to see me when it wasn't my scheduled appt. and is very complete during his exams. He has a great sense of humor, which for me is also important. Doctors are not Gods, and I think sometimes people forget that. They can only do so much. And they are young when they start out, so they gain more experience as they go along. I feel very safe in his care,, and because of that my daughter is going to see him for an issue she has that requires a neurologist. She is old enough to make her own choices and very picky. She saw his credentials, and the fact that I go there makes him the first choice for her.

Dr Silvestri took the time to talk and listen to my answers and questions.He was also kindly Honest with me when I asked a Question about whether he detected a muscular weakness. I have had the undiagnosed problem for years, but he is the First and most Informative neurologist I have found , even gleening info from MRI's that were years old and other neurologists saw nothing. I would call him the "GENTLE GENIUS".

Dr. Silvestri is the best! He is very nice and always answers all of my questions unlike other doctors. He knows me and my disease.
