3 hour drive one way to meet this Dr., waited in the office for 2 hours to see him while I was in a lot of pain from setting. He did not stay focused on why I was there. He did not understand my spine complications or show interest to listen to me on the symptoms that happen from spine issues. I brought all of my many test done that show what is wrong on a disc and written reports. Instead he focused on a simple X-Ray of my cervical column and he kept brushing off the reason why I was there which was my Lumbar spine that was bone on bone crushing my nerves exiting my spine with any twisting,stretching, walking, squatting. He insisted the excruciating pain was my muscles being tight. No my muscles are not tight or in pain. My spine is deteriorating very fast in the last two year's and all of my spine pain is 100% starting at the spine.One area of the spine has already fused itself naturally, horrible pain. Now for the last two years vertebrae above this area are starting to do the… same,while the coyxx broke off and has shifted. Ever since I had a,AC/DF with bone spurs at C-5,6,7 , U have been studying the spine,I study every test that shows the multiple things going wrong with my spine. He disrespected me and treated me like a number. I told him twice that my ability to walk is spiraling down hill in the last two year's and the lower half of my body has 24/7 tingling for years,mostly when I lay down. I already suffered Central nervous system damage to my cervical spinal column from 45% cord compression that went on for several years before getting the surgery I desperately needed. Back then Dr.'s would not listen to me until it was to late. The damage has left me to use a quad cane,walker and wheel chair in large facilities and daily horrible symptoms and pain. No examination was done today,he didn't ask what are my symptoms or ask what kind of work I do. Instead recommended spine injections. I have already had spine injections and they don't work, these spine injections are excruciating pain,especially when the area is already damaged. Today I felt like a number on a assembly line.

Im a 71 yr old male who had my spinal cord operated on. Dr. Szerlip was the best!
