Dr. Nicholas G Tarasidis, MD

I took my three month old son for a breathing problem, he belittled me, brushed me off and did not even examine my son. A month later we had to go by ambulance to St. Mary's because he stopped breathing. He was then diagnosed with severe laryngomalacia and is having surgery later this month. Dr. Tarasidis was the worst Doctor I have ever experienced and could have cost my baby his life.

If there was a higher rating option for courteous staff and bedside manner and spend time with me, I would have check that! Dr. T is amazing. In addition to all the important things we want in our doctors, i.e., experience, knowledge, and ability, he also has a great sense of humor, and an awesome bedside manner. He doesn't make you feel rushed and you can ask as many questions as you like and he will never make you feel bad about it. My son went to him when he was little and I've been going to him as an adult now that my son is grown. You know, things start to fall apart as we get older! I will always recommend him to others!

Dr. Nicholas G. Tarasidis is a poor and inconsistent communicator, and left me with no consistent narrative about my prognosis. When I had questions his answers were evasive, cagey and non-committal. After my initial exam he came in bubbling with what he called â??good news.â?? The â??good news,â?? according to him, was that my disorder was un-diagnosable and there was nothing he could do to help relieve my suffering, either presently or in the future. Obviously, Dr. Nicholas G. Tarasidis and the average patient are going to have very different ideas about what constitutes â??good news.â?? Overall Dr. Nicholas G. Tarasidis was dismissive of me and glib about my medical complaint, and during a follow-up call he practically hung up the phone in my face in his eagerness to get rid of me. At first he tried to hide behind his nurse because he didnâ??t want to talk with me directly, but I insisted on speaking with him and finally persevered. He prescribed a pharmaceutical treatment he… said likely had a 50/50 chance of success. When this treatment failed he said he wasnâ??t surprised. So why say 50/50? Sheer guesswork and trying to make himself appear useful, which resulted in nothing but a waste of my time, a false expectation of improvement, and a pointless prolongation of my suffering. He then told me there were â??no other treatment modesâ?? available to meâ??a claim of blatant falsehood, as I realize now, having moved ahead with another ENT who is helping me explore other avenues, and already with success.

THESE DOCTORS DESERVE TO BE IN PRACTICE TOGETHER...tHE WORST IVE SEEN IN MY 70 YEARS
