I did not think they made Docs like him any more!!! 5 stars. Wife of patient. I am an RN so I get it.

Dr. Tawa was very through with my medical history and information. He gave me a complete explanation of what to expect. The surgery went just as planned and was successful. I couldn't have asked for any better results. Even the scar is unremarkable. His staff was also wonderful to deal with. They were also very caring.

He is great!

Dr. Tawa is an outstanding surgeon who genuinely cares about his patients. His knowledge, skill, and human kindness combine to make him a remarkable doctor. He puts the patient at ease and he follows up in a timely fashion. His staff is skillful and warm as well.

Inguinal hernia repair. Primary care physician checked the surgery on my next annual visit and gave it very good marks. Dr. Tawa's "bedside manner" is first-rate: Takes time, explains, even gives you his direct cell phone number as part of post-surgery instructions. GREAT office support with appointments, follow-up. Best example: I had a non-emergency post-op question for his surgical nurse. She got the information but forgot to return my call; when she realized that, she drove back to her office at 8:30 at night to return the call, rather than waiting until the next day.

Two last my surgeries were performed by doctor Tawa.First (three years ago) I had open surgery of hernia and it was excellent. I was able to go to my job in three days after the surgery.Second (two month ago) was the cholecystestomy. It is simply amazing. I have minimal pain, no any problems and withing two weeks I forgot about the surgery.I'm very thank Dr. Tawa and wish him good health.
