Dr. Nicholas John Vernetti, MD

Dr. Vernetti is way ahead of Las Vegas medical care. He can figure out what other specialists have missed. As a result, he influences changes to medical care that are improving the quality of life and most likely also extending the lifespan of his patient.

Dr. Vernetti is a wonderful doctor. He always shows a genuine concern about your health and well-being. He is very thorough and checks everything, goes over everything in detail, even any medication that you are taking if that has any side effects on your health. He listens to your concerns, has a very friendly attitude, is respectful, very knowledgable, professional, and a genuine human being. He is the first doctor ever who calls the patient himself if he finds any concern. I was surprised but the staff told me that he always does it due to a concern for his patients. I am blessed to have him as my endocrinologist and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a Great doctor. A+ all the way.

Upon discussing a long-standing medical issue with Dr. Vernetti, he was immediately dismissive of a course of treatment I had received when living in another part of the country. (Said previous course of treatment had been proven to be very effective.) Dr. Vernetti went on to tell me the only things he was willing to try and that he was also willing to work with me before restating the only things he was willing to try. While I do feel Dr. Vernetti is a knowledgeable in the field (which does place him aboce most other Endocrinologists in this market) he does not instill confidence as a provider at this time.

Dr didn't read my file that he requested from another doctor and had to be informed of a major historical medical issue. Upon being informed his recommendations changed. He even went so far as to apparently read the file the other doctor sent and then call me well after hours, being 7pm, to counter his second recommendation. Then, an emergency came up that I had to cancel my appointment of the same day. Now the office won't let me make another appointment. Instead, I have to call each day for a slot from a cancellation, and this is for eternity...forever. I have to make a follow-up appointment, but they won't let me?

After just one visit, following his advice and directions, I had the best results for my diabetes in years
