Dr. Nicholas J Vittoria, DDS

I thought he was a great dentist until a crown was not covered by my plan. They never did a preapproval to see that it wasn't covered. If they had, I could have decided to do it or not since I had to pay. They sent for payment 6 months after the procedure, didn't get paid, and proceeded to bill my over $600, which I won't pay since they didn't do the preapproval. I disputed it too with my plan. Well they took me to collections. I won't recommend them to anyone. Their office staff sucks.

Dr V is great , however, the receptionist is rude and horrible. She walks into procedure rooms, on a regular basis, with dirty money, asking Dr for change. She has no regard for HIPPA, at all. Loudly discussing patient procedures and what their balance is. She acts like an angry debt collector. Everyone in the procedure rooms, as well as the waiting room can hear. Dr V, you hear it too! I will not be returning. I'm sure I'm not the only patient to leave. The last thing we need at a dental appointment is a hostility. Fire her.
