He completed a residency in Internal Medicine in 2003 from Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. In 2006 he completed a Fellowship program in Cardiovascular Diesease from the University of Iowa and in 2007 completed Fellowship training from the University of Iowa in Interentional Cardiology. Dr. Walker is Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He joined Mercy's medical staff in 2007 and practices at the Iowa City Heart Center, P.C. in Iowa City, which is an affiliate of Mercy Hospital. Dr. Walker sees patients at Washington County Hospital and Clinics every first and thrid Mondays of the month.
