Dr. Nicholas Gregory Weiss, MD

I have been having hip problems for the past 2 years. Dr Weiss was highly recommended by my orthopedic physician. I made an appointment and saw Dr. Weiss at the TCO clinic in Woodbury. The appointment was the greatest health care experience I have had in years. Everyone from the front desk to the assistants, x-ray technicians to the next appointment scheduler was just awesome! Everyone was very friendly, polite, courteous and professional. The appointment went fast. The clinic is VERY organized with very little wait time between steps. ( checked in, brought to exam room, described conditions to assistant, going to x-ray and the Dr. visit ) Dr. Weiss took time to explain the x-ray findings, showed diagrams on what was happening to my hip in great detail. Dr Weiss answered ALL of my questions and actually drew a diagram showing in great detail how hip socket and ball were put together. What I liked most was that Dr. Weiss was very down to earth and explained the complicated… issues/terminologies and procedures to me in what I would say "laminin's" terms. Dr. Weiss is very knowledgeable, sympathetic and caring. I didn't feel rushed and Dr. Weiss repeatedly asked if there were any other questions he could help me with. I scheduled my hip replacement with him because I truly feel I was connected to a great Dr and orthopedic surgeon that has my best interests in mind with my busy life style and quality of life expectations.

Excellent surgeon. I came from Milwaukee to have the surgery here in MN. The first surgery was left hip replacement. Five years later, no pain or limp. Even the scar is almost invisible. Follow the therapy instructions and you will have a full recovery. The second surgery was total right knee replacement. I am still following the therapy exercises in spite of Covid 19 keeping me from going to the clinic. The right knee feels better then the left knee, which should have surgery. At age 86, I am undecided. If I have the surgery, Dr. Weiss will be the surgeon I choose.

I had pain issues with my right shoulder that stated about 2 years ago, I tried PT to relive it, that worked for a short period, about 6 months ago the pain got so bad I could not lift my right arm beyond hip high. Dr. Weiss tried an injection which lasted about 3 weeks. I also was getting PT, just before Christmas it got really bad. Dr. Weiss and I discussed my options and I choose to have a total replacement. I am 6 weeks out from surgery and with PT I have less pain and can lift my arm above my hip, Working and getting it higher. I am totally happy with how Dr. Weiss worked with me in getting to where I am today.. Merle G Meisner

Dr Weiss has been an excellent Dr for me! He's kind, caring, and professional. Whatever problems I've had, he's taken care of them, and my knees thank him, along with my hip. You can't go wrong with Dr Weiss!

Dr. Weiss and his staff were unbelievably helpful to me in getting my life back! I had a total knee replacement a little over a year ago. Dr. Weiss treated me like I was his own family! He was very respectful, friendly, sympathetic, caring, professional, and just a great doctor! Before my knee replacement, I could not walk more than two blocks without terrible pain. I could not sleep and I gained a significant amount of weight because of it. Dr. Weiss told me I was too young to NOT have the surgery. It was the best thing I could have done. It has been a little over a year and I am walking 4 miles a day again and have lost 30 pounds! I was even able to go rock climbing for the first time in Colorado Springs this summer! My husband couldn't have been more thankful, also! A very special thank you to Bridget, Steve and Dr. Weiss for the awesome experience and for literally saving my life!!

I am so grateful to have Dr. Weiss as our doctor. From the time of my sons initial ACL injury into the recovery period since surgery, he has treated us with nothing but genuine care & concern. He is pleasant, patient & respectful of my sons feelings, working with him to make good decisions regarding his care. I appreciate Dr. Weiss' skill, knowing that he won't settle for anything less than the best. Four stars from this mom!!

I had both my knees done within 11 weeks of each other and both experiences were exceptional for me and my family. Dr. Weiss is very caring and takes what ever time is needed to make sure you understand what the options are and how it can be addressed.
