The hygienist screwed up when he made a bite block that didn't fit. He should have verified the fit by asking me to wear it it before sending me to the imaging center. Part of the problem is that Dr. Nick and the whole staff were in a big rush that day for some reason. I wasn't about to pay $500 for an incomplete MRI that didn't include the bite block position. So I cancelled the MRI appointment and the follow-up at Dr. Nick's office the next day. I've already had two MRI's in the past the showed I was stable and adaptive so I think in retrospect that getting a third one would have been overkill. I also decided I didn't need a t-scan the next day since I didn't have any pain issues. When I called the office staff member to cancel she was somewhat brusque and apathetic about my displeasure and kept cutting me off to get me off the line asap. When I spend lots of time and money to not only pay the office for dental care, but also to travel a long distance to Rogers, I am not accustomed… to carelessness and being treated like garbage. I never got an apology from anyone even though they all knew they screwed up. I had good experiences on several visits prior to this. But this left a sour taste in my mouth. You cannot have even one poor day if you are charging patients top dollar. Why should I go back and wonder if they are going to have another bad day?
