Just a legal drug pusher no bed side maners and the office staff are dumped then a box of rocks

This is when I delt with Dr Renia. Thank goodness for him , he kept my pain levels under control by adding & adjusting medication. When I got home months after I went to him for chronic arthritis . He listened to me , discussed my pain level , now things are liveable . Staff has always been nice & answered my questions . Happy patient

Dr. Reina was very disrespectful from the first appointment I had with him. He low key accused me of being a drug addict and stated that " we are all the same, we just want drugs. I never did anything to jeopardize the pain management contract except lost my prescription. I did not lose the medication because it was never filled, I lost the actual prescription and for this the Dr. wants to punish me by refusing to give me my prescription because I lost my prescription. There is no other reason! I do understand that prescription drugs are an issue these days but it is unlawful to discriminate against someone for any reason in this country. That is exactly what Dr. Reina has done. He is very unprofessional and uses his office assistants to communicate with patients, probably because he knows he is being unfair and may be ashamed of his actions. Hopefully the government can discuss these issues with him and create a better doctor's experience for all his patients. Dr. Reina has a… very bad reputation among his patients and uses a form of control over his patients because he considers all those that are prescribed pain medications to be drug addicts......his words, not mine!!!!

I was in his office waiting for him for my refill. A man was waiting for him. When he came in he called the man into his office and reamed him up one side and down the other for losing a prescription, I've never heard such terrible, impolite, disrespectful things in my life from a Dr. He told him with all his office doors open, another man was also waiting, can all hear him to say "get out of my sight while I decide what to do" in a snobby, rotten attitude. A couple minutes later he called him back and gave him a script after reaming him again. If I was that guy I'd file a complaint against the jerk. I have never heard of dr. being so mean and disgusting. I felt so bad for the man, he was nearly in tears when he left. The girls in his office were all busybodies and very unprofessional acting, very childish.

Did not take the time to discuss my concerns, seemed very defensive, very stressed, I could hear his verbal dictation of other patients records while I was waiting in an examination room. He had a very abrupt and dismissive attitude re my medical concerns. His staff did not posses a professional decorum either, I felt like I was dealing with high school students

This doctor and his staff are seriously in need of some hug therapy! The doctor claims there are strict and low limits to the amount of opioids that can be taken daily, yet he's the first pain mgmt dr I've ever heard say that! He charged me for unnecessary visits- no small amount either! And all he did was cut my meds down by two-thirds (I wasn't on that much to start with!!) and tell me I'll never get them increased, regardless of my tolerance. He's just a very unlikeable and uncaring poor excuse for a pain doctor.

Dr. Renia has been my pain management doctor for about 10 years. 11 years ago I had a spinal fusion and my pain level decreased about 50% but life was difficult even at that level. When first meeting him I felt he was kind of an odd duck, but as time went on I got better aquainted with him, I can say that he does truely care about his patients he has always answered my questions and treated me with respect. He does however take his job seriously, and if he thinks you are abusing the meds he prescribes he will act on that with a full blood work up. This has happened to me once and when the results came back fine, he called me a d explained why he ordered the test and apologized for the inconvienence. His staff is ok sometimes tbey can make you feel like your a criminal when you call for medication refills and they dont always get all the facts correct as far as dates when scripts were filled and quantities prescribed. They are nice ladies but can sometimes seem rude, I dont think that… is intentiontional but it happens? As far as if I would recommend him? Definately I would and have, he is far from a pill pusher.. Sometimes I am afraid to call for a refill if it is even close to being too soon. Because of his strict policies I fear he will stop treating me all together and I could not survive without me meds. So I play by the rules and have never had an issue. The one thing I would like to know but am also afraid to ask is his opinion on medical canabis. Again because of his strict policies. Overall I think he is a good doctor and has improved my quality of life.
