Dr. Khan has been absolutely amazing. From a smooth surgery to quick recovery, I cannot sing praises loud enough for him and his team. He is very kind and personable as well. Highly recommended!!

Dr. Kahn and his staff addressed the issue on my forehead very professionally. They kept us informed and relaxed. I would gladly recommend him to anyone in the need of a neurosurgeon. Very pleased is an understatement.

Dr Khan performed C3-C5 procedure for degenerative discs. He and his staff were outstanding throughout the process. Fully explained the procedure, what to expect following the surgery, and were readily available to answer any questions/concerns I had following the surgery. My outcome has been better than expected and would highly recommend Dr Khan and his team.

Dr Kahn preformed surgery on my husband after he suffered a broken neck from an accident. Dr Kahn is extremely thorough and attentive to what he needs to do. My husband is healing wonderfully and will be able to assume his normal lifestyle. We are forever thankful for Dr Kahn and the Lord directing his hands.

Excellent!!! Excellent!!! Excellent!!! I had a rather large nonfunctional macroadenoma (pituitary tumor) removed in 2023 and my husband had emergency brain surgery to stop a rather active brain bleed in March 2025. Dr Khan was the surgeon both times. My surgery was somewhat of a surprise as I had no symptoms that a large mass was growing in my head. It was discovered by accident. I was referred to Semmes Murphy Clinic and picked up by Dr. Khan. What a blessing!! He examined me several times and requested all of the necessary tests. He even encouraged me to bring my whole family to discuss the procedure and the follow-up care. He never rushed me or my decision. He sensed that I was scared as I am pretty healthy and never had a major surgery. He had pictures of my brain and broke the procedures down using language that I could understand. He gave me two treatment options and the knowledge my husband and I needed to make a decision. Dr. Khan has a very soothing tone and when he talks to… you, he genuinely cares about the task at hand. He was the last face I saw before surgery and the 1st I saw (along with my husband) when I awoke. My husband had a rather serious brain bleed that required emergency brain surgery. One day he was walking around the next day he was having horrible symptoms - all due to an injury sustained to his eye while on vacation out of the country. The surgery moved pretty quickly! As this was an emergency, we were very concerned about the surgeon he'd have. When I saw Dr. Khan's name on his chart, I began to cry tears of joy because I knew that God had answered my prayers and sent my husband the BESTTTTT surgeon. In this very short recovery time, my husband has made a 100% recovery and has even gone back to work. Dr Khan is well suited for this role and he is a great provider! He is very knowledgeable, compassionate, professional and has a create support team. I can't say enough about him but, he is amazing!!!

I was highly impressed with Dr Kahn. I went in with back pain. He reviewed my test results and confidently gave me options to solve my problems. I chose the surgery and everything has gone just as he said and quicker. Dr Kahn and those that worked with him were all professional and pleasant. I am very thankful that Dr Kahn was my Dr and I would definitely recommend him.

Dr Khan is very kind and thorough. He gives ample time for asking questions and explaining test results. My ACDF surgery went without a hitch and I am recovering well! I appreciate his attention to detail and I would highly recommend him!

Dr Nickalus Khan Semmes Murphey The time came for a back specialist; as most people I didn’t know one. My Primary Care referred me to a doctor at Semmes Murphey, however he was unavailable. Semmes Murphey provided a different doctor, Dr Nickalus Khan. I can only say afterwards I was so glad to be directed to him. Dr Khan is not only very knowledgeable about his field, but has a great personality. He took time to answer any questions I asked him. He explained my situation on a level that anyone could understand. After surgery, it was exactly like he explained, I walked out with no help or pain. My experience with Dr Khan, made me realize he was one of the best doctors I have dealt with in my 70 years. I would be proud to recommend him and give him a 5-STAR rating, only wish there was a higher rating.

My husband had been suffering for about a year with back pain but the last 2 months really starting to hurt so bad because the pain was running down his leg standing, sitting or laying and he was in a lot of pain. The day after surgery he was in no pain and he as of this date too. I think Dr Khan realized how much he was suffering. He was kind, knowledgeable, attentive. We are so glad we made that drive to see him. I would recommend him and Semmes/Murphey. Everyone was so nice and helpful.

Very easy to talk to and provided ample opportunity for questions. The others in the office are very professional yet kind at the same time. We were actually in the exam room within 5 minutes of the scheduled appointment time and saw Dr Khan about 10 minutes after being taken back. Probably the most efficient Doctor’s Office Visit ever! And Christine was incredibly helpful. Absolutely great experience!
