amazing doctor who actually took the time to hear what i had to say.

I saw Dr. Gilette at CFM urgent care. I had just moved to Columbia from out of state, but was in Kirksville to see family. I have rheumatoid arthritis and a history of thyroid cancer. I was referred to him by a former employee, and he was awesome. I was in a great deal of pain from a flare up, and had run out of my medication since I mistakenly believed my doctor from NC could refill it but couldn't call it in across state lines. I had made an appointment with a new primary care provider, but it was still a few weeks out. Dr. Gilette gave me a months supply of my meds and was very caring, down to earth, and just generally a cool guy. He listened to me, didn't make me feel like an idiot, and had me in and out in under twenty minutes. The entire staff was fantastic, to the point I am establishing care with complete family medicine and making the drive from Columbia. As anyone from Kirksville knows, people generally drive from there to Columbia for care, not the other way around. It's… worth the drive to have a team that listens and cares about your well-being.

Dr. Gillette takes his time with examinations and answers questions so that I can understand. He does not treat me as if I don't know my own body and when something is not right. He's a terrific doctor!
