Dr. Nickolas Tyler Walker, MD

Went in middle of the night as I was having a lot of trouble breathing and coughing to the point of getting lightheaded and throwing up. I had taken some older medication at home just so I could drive myself to the ER so it was a little better when I got there but still wheezing and couldn’t get a full breath. Dr. Walker was just looking at me like I wasn’t that bad and very dismissive. He said I’ll order an X-ray but I’m sure you don’t have pneumonia or bronchitis. I told him I was having major stomach pain anytime I ate anything for 2 weeks and previously had a 5 day migraine and fever. He said “I thought you were here for breathing treatments, what do you want me to do about that?” I said, “I don’t know, order a stool test or something?” He said I’ll order a few labs” but obviously had absolutely no desire to help with that. The blood pressure/oxygen alarms were going off constantly and no one cared. I asked why is that going off? And the nurse said, it helps if it’s plugged in… correctly. Kept going off. When I finally started the breathing treatments I noticed the number went from 75 to 92 and it finally stopped beeping. So the whole time no one was concerned about the oxygen level. Dr. Came and and ask if I got some breathing relief and told me I don’t have pneumonia.but he would send a few prescriptions.. I asked for a nebulizer to do breathing treatments at home. He said insurance won’t pay for a nebulizer and I should order one on Amazon. I don’t believe that’s true as we got one from insurance 15 years ago but it’s been lost. Anyway, while I was waiting my oxygen level was going down again. No one came to check. Alarms going off for 30 min. I saw the albuterol on the table and put it I the nebulizer and gave myself a breathing treatment. No one came until it was almost done and the nurse didn’t even notice I gave it to myself. She just said Dr. said you could be discharged! I signed the discharge papers and thought they were odd but knew he wasn’t trying to help. I got a call that they were the wrong discharge papers and had to come back. I finally got to bed at 7am and then got a notification that meds were ready at the pharmacy. One med was never sent. I called and asked Dr to send it and then they said that actually the X-ray results came back and I did have pneumonia. So the doctor didn’t even see the results before telling me I didn’t. Really not sure why he’s a doctor as he doesn’t seem to think oxygen levels or eating are necessary for life.

Dr. Walker’s invaluable skills helped my wife in assisting her to get the optimal an orthopedic surgeon to take care of her horrific left wrist fracture. He also did an amazing job on setting and stabilizing her fracture for the surgeon.

Shame on you Dr. Walker!! This doctor has so little compassion that I am not even sure why he has a medical license. I took my dad in to their ER because of a continued Covid complications. He's 90 years old and still very sharp. When he was diagnosed with covid and was given paxlovid, my father read the side effects and elected to not take it. Against my better judgement I allowed him to make the call. He was doing great and getting better. A couple of weeks after diagnosed he started with a fever and very congested. I took him back into the ER where we seen Dr.Walker. I explained the situation and how he wouldn’t take the Paxlovid . That flipped a switch on Dr. Walker, he looked at my daddy and asked if he took a covid vaccine and my dad said no. Dr. Walker looked at my daddy and said (and I quote)” so you're telling me you didn't take the paxlovid and you didn't take a covid vaccine” daddy said yes, Dr. Walker asked “ So exactly what do you want me to do, because I left my magic… wand at home” I just about leaped across the room on him. I turned to Dr. Walker and said “ you need to be kind” he looked at me with an angry look on his face and started to say something nasty I am sure of it, but instead he said he was. I assured him he wasnt and again told him to be kind. IN NO WAY WAS THERE ANY COMPASSION, he stormed out of the room, he ordered xrays which should bilateral pneumonia, he said he needed to be hospitalized so they transferred us to Summit. That my friends was an even worse experience. Don’t go there!!! You will leave feeling disappointed and your loved ones wont be getting the care and compassion they deserve at either place. I am sorry Dr. Walker that you are so miserable in your job that you take it out on your patients. Sir you need to read the book “The Go Giver” if there’s anybody in the world that needs to read it it would be you, sir.

Dr Walker saved my husband’s life. He is very knowledgeable. I appreciate him and his staff.

Truly the most unprofessional doctor I have ever encountered. He never introduced himself or did an exam. He was crude, arrogant, and sarcastic. He laughed as my family member was discussing why he came to the ER and when questioned why he became super condescending and sarcastic. I am appalled that this is what medicine has come to. Do not go to this ER.

This is a prime example of someone who wants the notoriety of being doctor but clearly hates people. I went to the ER with some heart palpitations after calling my doctor and being instructed to do so. Later on I passed several tests that confirmed it was most likely due to stress. At the time of my ER visit, I was very worried that something was wrong and even more concerned that no one seemed to be able to figure it out. Dr Walker wrote some very horrible comments on my file that were completely false! This doctor doesn’t know one patient from the next and clearly has no care or compassion! He should be employed as a debt collector or the DMV! If you can go to any other ER besides Mt Juliet you should.

Terrible never touched patient. Didn’t want to perform basic exam after traumatic car accident. Sent patient home with no 194/97

I came in for pain in my abdomen, and Dr. Walker was one of the rudest doctors I have encountered.

Went to the ER due to being told to go there by Premier. This clown ran every test he would order on me for the stomach flu. Because of him, I was able to meet my policy deductible that day. I wish I would have been more lucid, so I would have stopped him running unnecessary tests. I'm currently fighting his charges.
