Dr. Nicky Plementosh, MD

I’m a 100% Disabled Veteran, as such all of my care must go through the local VA, even for approval of outside civilian care. I’ve been terribly ill for over 2 years and I finally needed to see a Gyn. My wife and I choose Dr Plementosh on the Chance that I would be allowed Choice civilian care, I was not granted this authorization. So imagine our surprise when we showed up at the local VA for my GYN appointment and the Dr was none other than our first choice: Dr. P! We were so happy, she immediately wanted to try one thing and see me back in 3 months and if I wasn’t better.....off to exploratory surgery. She stood by her word, took charge of my care and she pushed for the VA to allow her to perform my surgery at Bellin Hospital, where she practices instead of all the way in Milwaukee with a Dr that didn’t know me from the male Veterans(if you don’t know , this is hard to accomplish and usually we await surgery for months) I am one day post op, the surgery went perfectly, she spoke… to us before hand and specifically to my wife as soon as she was done. She made sure I suffered minimal pain in recovery and I was home before noon. If you need a GYN or OB look no further. Dr P is the best in Green Bay. And the fact that she takes 2 days a week away from her profitable civilian practice to help local women veterans should also tell you what kind of woman and Dr she truly is. I wish she could handle all of my care.

Dr Plementosh recently delivered my child. She was extremely condescending. She was rolling her eyes at me while pushing my child out. She never explained any risks of procedures and did not follow my wishes. She did what she wanted to do to my body. I am a nurse by profession and am appalled at how I was treated. She left me with birth trauma when the rest of my labor experience was empowering.
