Dr. Nicola Irene Riley, MD

Dr. Riley has great bedside manner. More than most physicians I have seen. She listens and she diagnosed my daughter when even the pediatrician did not. She will be there when you need her. My daughter was sick and was going on a basketball trip and I called her office and she took her right-a-way. Dr. Riley is awesome!

Hmm - looks like the pro-lifers have been meddling with reviews. Dr. Riley was my primary care physician for several years - I now live in another part of the state and sadly had to find another primary care physician. Dr. Nikola Riley is one of the most engaging physicians I've had the pleasure to know. She always took the time to actually listen and talk about things with me. I would walk out feeling like I had received the care I had expected and there were always follow-ups.

Horrible Doctor. No compassion and seems to enjoy causing others pain.

Cares for money not people

This woman is never on time, and she thinks she is God's gift to humanity. It's a wonder she even got her medical degree, given that she barely passed her boards after several tries. It's clear, from the investigations done by the Maryland Board of Physicians, that she is a con-artist. I will not have her taking advantage of me and my family.

THE WORST!!!

My experience as a patient of DR. Rileys has always been very positive. I find her to be a very kind, competent, and professional doctor. I have been a patient of hers for over 3 yrs and will continue to be.

I was having a difficult time starting my cycle so a week before I went into Dr. RIley's office I went to planned parenthood to get on birth control and they referred me to Dr. RIley. So I made an appointment and went in she didn't even take me in to a room, we were standing at a reception desk and she asked me the reasoning for my visit. I explained to her that I wasn't menstrating at all but I had just started taking birth control. So she took down my name and some other information and told me to come back in a couple weeks to see if I would start because of the birth control. Well I started my cycle so there was no need for me to go back in to see her, I thought the $70 she made for just taking down my name and a little information about me was payment enough but no she billed me for the second appointment even though I didn't go in. So I called her to discuss why she charged me for my second visit and she said she gave me medical advice that was worth $140!! I said let me get… this straight telling me to come back in two weeks is medical advice!?!? Wow what a joke I couldn't believe she expected to get paid for that!! I have never been treated so poorly in my life than I did that day. She is the most disrespectful Doctor I've ever had and I would never recommend anyone to go to her. She is very unprofessional she acted as if she was going to waive the charge and told me to never come back to her office again!! But a few months later I get a collection notice from her and she didn't even warn me that she was going to bill me still!! I was blown away please everyone don't ever go to her she deserves to lose her license!!!

This woman is a narcissist. She was over an hour late (I was the first appointment), and got very defensive when I told her how long I'd been waiting. She is very paternalistic (I'm the doctor, you're the patient...do what I say and don't ask questions) I got the impression that she is trying to dupe insurances by writing prescriptions and coding them under false diagnoses. I think that is fraud, and I don't want to be involved in any fraud, so I am going to find another doctor.

She got me what I needed in a strictly businesslike manner. She was polite, if not the warmest person on earth, and got the job done.
