Dr. Van has tunnel vision. He fails to think outside the box and just persues one idea and pushes it even though none of the signs or symptoms of the claimed disorder are present. He fails to take into account medication or its affects or even take into account the side affects or interactions with other medications. He has his theory and that is all that matters, he will not consider anything else even when it poses a detriment to the patient. I have also noticed that there is a long wait time in the waiting room for the appointments, not up to 40 minutes after the scheduled time and the time spent with the patients is steadily decreasing from an hour to ten minutes.

He does not seem to listen, or uses selective listening and goes onto a tangent on phrases. He is big on issuing medications which will knock you out and simply mask the symptoms, sadly often the symptoms of the meds are much worse than the original issue.
