Dr. Nicole M Bishko, DO

So happy I was referred to Dr Bishko. Great bedside manner, caring, kind, great doctor that knows what she is doing. Answers my questions and explains things so i can understand.

All these other ratings are so old. Dr. Bishko is a wonderful and thorough doctor. She is very easy to talk to and I have never had to wait long when I arrive for my appointments.

The Dr. herself is a Nice Woman. However her office is not coordinated and are Very Rude!The Nurse that has to call in the RX has yelled at me a number of times. I take medicine that is controlled so the office has to call my RX in every Month. However they Never seem to call it in, when scheduled. I call my pharmacy every month and Im told the RX hasn't been called in. I then have to call Dr. Bisko's office. Then wait 2 days, call the pharmacy back they still usually don't have my RX called in or faxed over, so I have to call Dr. Bisko's office back. EVERY MONTH! I have never had to call a Dr.s office 2-3 times a month to get an RX filled. I express my concern to the Nurse and was yelled at and told Its MY Responsibility to call them to remind them to call in my RX. But then when I call to remind them, they YELL AT ME! I don't have insurance, so I pay $75 per visit to see Dr. Bishko. Plus my medicine is "controlled" so I have to see the Dr. every 3 months! I'm paying them $300 a… year to Be Rude to Me !?!? Im considering changing Dr.'s NOT Due to Dr. Bishko herself, but her office staff and how I'm treated. Today I had to call them again to ask them to call my medication in, and after being rude and yelling at me, the girl on the phone hung up on me. I'm not a rude person, I don't raise my voice. I suffer from Anxiety. People yelling at me does Not help my anxiety, it makes it worse!

I've lived all over the country (and abroad), and have had more than a dozen PCPs. I've found Dr Bishko to be the best, and it's not even close. I have a number of major health. problems; and I came to Dr Bishko four years ago as pretty much a train wreck--I was very ill, and nearly hopeless. After the first visit, I felt as though a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders. She designed a comprehensive treatment plan for me; and more important, she gave me hope for the first time in years. Today, I feel and look much more healthy, and am actually looking forward to a future. Dr Bishko is one of those rare physicians who are able to look at a patient's problems both specifically and generally, provide individual diagnoses within a holistic framework, and suggest treatments that are both specific and interrelated. Her knowledge is extremely broad, and also quite deep for a PCP. Her bedside manner is simply wonderful: she listens intently, responds straightforwardly, and allows… you as much time as needed. She makes you feel as if you're her only patient. Dr Bishko's knowledge of appropriate specialists is exceptional. Her referrals for me have without exception proven to be excellent. I must also mention her staff. It is the best I've found anywhere. Each individual is pleasant, professional, and highly competent. The entire office feels like family--to the extent that I actually look forward to every visit. In sum, I would recommend Dr Bishko to absolutely anyone looking for a caring, thoughtful, and superlative PCP. I trust her with my life.
