Dr. Nicole Klempen Brandt, MD

I am so saddened by Dr Brandt's departure, but I wish her well in her new adventure. We decided to proceed with cataract surgery before she left. I am so pleased we did. Dr. Brandt is kind, compassionate, thoughtful in her comments, talented in her profession. I told her today that I chose to have surgery on my "good" eye first with purpose. I wanted to send a clear message that I had total trust in her abilities...and was willing to risk everything with her as surgeon. I will really miss her.

I've always left my appointment with Dr. Brandt feeling confident that I've received the best care. I wish her the best of luck in her new adventure!

Dr. Brandt has been a guiding light in my eye treatment. My latest appointment was typical: fast efficient and friendly service. Knowlegeable, engaged and protective of the client... If they offered 20 stars, I would rate them all!

Dr Brandt diagnosed, responded to by scheduling and treating me, and without hesitation treated an additional eye condition that I didn’t initially come in for. She is proficient and kind. I’m happy to have been in her care for over ten years.

Dr Brandt has always addresses my issues with professionalism, compassion, and an informative discussion regarding the health of my eyes.I will be sad to see her leave Spokane. Best wishes for her new job and place to live.

I have very severe myopia, and thus was probably pretty challenging. Dr. Brandt spent a lot of time dealing with various IOL providers to find the one that would work for me. My myopia, of course meant that my eyeballs were long and getting them measured accurately required numerous sessions. The cataract surgery had far better results than I had expected: she had warned me not to have unrealistic expectations. But I couldn’t have been happier with the results. Her explanations were very thorough; I never felt rushed, and each office visit had left me satisfied that she had addressed all my concerns.

Dr. Brandt seems well advised. But when making followup appointments in anticipation of lens replacement, staff has no idea of the discussion. They seem to think if replacement is mentioned, its a go. Nope, not these people

The condition that I went to Dr Brandt for was one that needed some explanation in order to understand what I needed to do at home to treat it. She prescribed but did not explain why she was prescribing the medicine. When I asked her if long term antibiotics in my eyes could be harmful, her answer was defensive. She seemed in a hurry and had a superior attitude.
