Dr. Nicole Dorotik, MD

I've been a patient for 8 years and have usually waited in the waiting room on each visit for a half an hour before being taken to the room to wait and see the doctor is another 30 minutes or more. I ran out of my depression medicine called the doctor's office and let them know. My insurance won't pay for 30 days of medicine, the cost to me would be 200 dollars. Dr won't change the prescription and I can afford to pay for the prescription. So the doctor doesn't know you should taper this medicine off slowly or doesn't care. This puts my mental and physical health in danger.

Best doctor I have seen, very attentive and thorough. Highly recommended.

Although we love Dr. Dorotik, and haven't found another Dr. that we trust, it is IMPOSSIBLE to find an appoitment, we are in the process of finding a new family physician because when the kids have an ear infection, strep throat they are unable to accomdate an appt, even with a different doctor in the practice. The front desk is always very unhelpfull and rude, and I feel that they rush me in and out. Patient care in very minimal.

My 16 year old daughter is having a mild asthma attack. Enough of an attack that she needs to be seen but not bad enough that I need to take her and my 2 year old (who is home with me) to the ER and pay 3x as much for a visit. However, when I called New West Physicians, I was told they have absolutely no appointments available. 16 years of raising children and I have NEVER had a dr. tell me they can't see someone having an asthma attack. Terrible terrible customer service. I guess it's an ok office if you know you're going to be sick and you can make your appointment 3 months in advance. I'm sickened by this.

I switched family doctors over a year ago. Dr. Dorotik is very caring and spends the needed time with me to get all my questions answered.
