Nicole Gray, MSN, FNP-C, AGACNP-BC

Board-certified family and acute care nurse practitioner Nicole Gray brings to the Lowcountry over two decades of healthcare experience. Seeing patients in the Heart Specialists practice's Okatie and Beaufort locations, as well as in the hospital, Ms. Gray provides care for cardiovascular conditions like heart failure and hypertension, as well as follow-up after emergency cardiac interventions.
Her areas of medical interest include general cardiology, acute patient care, hypertension and cardiogenic shock.
Ms. Gray’s expertise ranges from general cardiology, acute care to forensic nursing, holding roles in not just acute care but administrative and director roles, too. The Navy veteran has also been a clinical instructor for various graduate and medical school programs and an educational speaker. In 2023, Ms. Gray established a brand-new heart failure clinic as part of her work with the Department of Veterans Affairs in New York.
Cardiovascular medicine is a high-stress field, …she said, and she likes to use her sense of humor to connect with patients and make them feel comfortable.
The Buffalo, N.Y. native has lived and worked all over the country. She has two children, two dogs – one of them getting her therapy dog certification – and enjoys coaching.
