I had compression fractures and she had never told me they were there until I went in with extreme pain. I asked for an MRI and she would not authorize. Turns out i had 2 old fractures and 2 new ones. Her assessment was if I did not need back surgery . She does not explain test results and rushes patients through to get a thorough diagnosis. There were tests she had done that would have shown the red flags I had to learn about these by going to a different doctor

If I could give minus stars I would. this is strictly on Diagnosis. this past January, i had strep, which led to an ear infection, to a sinus infection. needless to say i was very sick for the duration of the month. I was seen at UPMC south side hospital walk-in clinic. My culture came back negative for strep, but clearly there was something wrong, i couldnt swallow, my tonsils were infected, swollen. I was givin a z-pak, which i find out later doesnt do anything for strep. in a week's time i was feeling worse than better, i return, because i figure its easier to be seen at the clinic, than try to get an appt. with my pcp., im told now i have bronchitis, given an inhaler, that it. by this time i cant hear because my ear infection has gotten so bad, i get an appt with my pcp which gives me ear drops, becuse that's infected, and TWO antibotic/ viral medicines, which later i have to be seen by a ear,nose, throat dr.

Great experience from start to finish, she is very thorough and kind to take time to make sure the patient visit is complete, the patient understands intructions and has anything they need to take home with them to do after care.

Best doctor I ever had and believe me I have had a lot of doctors. she really cares about her patients and she takes her time understanding all your concerns.. If she did not relocate, she would have been my doctor until the day I died. Haven't found another good, caring doctor since.
