Our daughter will be 18 soon and we hate for her to leave Dr Shorrock. She is the best. We followed her from Placervilleto EDH. Will miss her.

Dr. Shorrock has always displayed a high degree of care for our family. One of the reasons we switched our children to Dr. Shorrock as their primary pediatrician from others in the same practice was the degree of care she has shown to us, including not rushing to prescribe medicine for every little condition that presents and taking her time with us to get to the underlying cause of a problem and answer questions we may have; something that seemed lacking in some of the other pediatricians we have seen. She never makes us feel like she is rushed or trying to push us out the door. She truly takes her time with us to be sure the whole child is being considered when making medical decisions.

If more Dr.'s treated their patients as whole human beings we would all be healthier. Dr. Shorrock doesn't just treat symptoms or dole out common advice. She treats each patient as the individual that they are and works to find the reason for the problem. If medications are necessary, they are prescribed but not without education to improve overall health with the goal being a healthy child without medication.

Doctor Shorrock has been wonderful! She is smart, she listens, takes lots of time, and has been very proactive about getting information, tests, and working with other doctors to monitor my daughter, who has a complex medical condition. Office is clean and they are always able to work us in with another doctor if Dr. Shorrock is not in. Can't recommend her highly enough!

Dr. Shorrock is the only doctor who actually took the time to figure out what was going on with my daughter. She didn't accept a 'that's good enough' when my daughter kept having ongoing issues. Prior doctors kept telling me oh she just keeps getting strep throat...a wrong diagnosis that went on for months. Dr. Shorrock correctly diagnosed and then didn't stop when things got better - she made sure things were perfect! Hats off for Doctor Shorrock! I'm a fan and refer her whenever I can.
