Dr. Nicole Leigh Symons, MD

Did a extensive review of test results and explained in detail the results. Very friendly and willing to spend time to make you feel comfortable. I have been a pt. of hers for a few years and have never had any problems or questions that she would or could not address properly.

Patronizing, does not listen, and largely is unwilling to help

Does not pay attention to her patients. Makes you feel bad for something you didn't do.

I've been going to Dr. Symons for several years. She's very thorough, respectful, kind, and intelligent. I highly recommend her!

I accompanied my fiancée to a sick visit yesterday. Wow, what a nightmare. Dr. Symons was downright rude, didn't even say 'hi' to me, and acted like my poor fiancée was wasting her time by being there! The staff wasn't any better, honestly. The encounter was irritating to say the least, especially since the doctor insisted that a vitamin D level of 27 (below normal) was just "fine", and while it "might cause a little fatigue", it would have no bearing on any of her other symptoms. Um. That's just plain wrong. Mind you, this is the same doctor who sent her to a neurologist when she was dizzy for a week instead of doing a workup, and only discovered my fiancée was really ANEMIC after running an iron level at my request. The odd thing about this doctor is that she was dressed like a Barbie doll - crazy makeup and a curled French twist hairdo with SO much hairspray it looked like it wasn't even real hair. Honestly, she looks more like she wandered away from her Cliniqué counter at the… mall. My fiancée's records are being transferred. God forbid you have anything seriously wrong with you because this woman is certainly not a competent doctor who is up to date on any research.

I used to see Dr. Symons about 4 years ago, after my PCP had retired. I found her to be not very thorough, and lacked compassion and empathy. I only saw her about 3 times, and promptly left when i found a new doctor.

Never felt that she really was interested in my health situation. Not very patient.

This doctor and practice is out for the almighty dollar - not the welfare and health of their patients! Patient compassion and well being is not their priority. It's all about the bottom line $$$$$$$$$$!

Dr. Symons does not look out of the box. She works from a book and can't think for her self. Relativiely rude and doesn't listen to your concerns. But the best and shame on Buffalo Medical Group, I wanted to switch to another doctor in the group and was told I couldn't. It got back to her and she discharged me from her practice, LOL. that hurts, I fired you first! Most professional groups hook you up with a patient advocate and help you find someone else in the office that works for you. Buffalo Medical Group doesn't care about their patients,,,,just a business!!

Dr Symons does not really listen, she picks out what she wants to hear and uses to refer you to another Doctor for something that isn't a problem, you get your 15 minutes and leave knowing nothing that was done or said addressed the problem you came with, You go home feeling worst, since nothing was accomplish, I am looking to find a new Dr and I will be gone to some one that can help me.
