For serious issues, find another provider …… First, let me say that I have broad knowledge in the areas of human biology, anatomy and kinesiology. Late 2024 I hurt my shoulder. I asked Dr. Thrift for an MRI & she declined. Instead, she sent me for an X-ray(only looks at bones, which I knew) & physical therapy, citing insurance standards. Through other channels, 3 months later, I was referred for a MRI, resulting in surgery for a torn bicep tendon & 3 torn ligaments. (I knew something was wrong!!) Next, in July 2025, following my "normal" mammogram results, I asked Dr. Thrift for additional imaging, as recommended by SMIL, due to my dense breast tissue, and the fact that my first cousin had been through chemotherapy & now radiation for her breast cancer(her mother also had breast cancer). Again, she declined my request. I told her that I was not leaving her office until she wrote me a referral for the MRI. She did. MRI results showed a tumor. I have since changed primary care… physicians and am a cancer survivor!!!! Please take care of yourself and don’t use the HonorHealth Medical Group that she is a part of.

Nichole is the BEST doc I've had in a pretty extensive life

She is a young doctor and very early in her career and it really shows. She has many opinions informed by reading rather than by experience so she lectures rather than listens to patient. In 20 years she will know that medical knowledge swings a lot and medicine is also an art.
