Dr. Nicole Yamoah Turkson, MD

Dr. Turkson is the best doctor I have ever had. I have type 2 diabetes and she has helped me get my A1c down and listens to my needs and desires as a patient. She is always kind, remembers our conversations from months ago and is very personable. I would highly suggest her as a primary physician to any of my family and friends.

Horrible experience with her. She gets very defensive and condescending when she knows you're intelligent and do your research. She's not interested in being a partner in your healthcare, she wants you to do what she suggests without question. Very condescending. She missed my autoimmune disease for over a year, blowing it off as anxiety. She also blew off a reactive lymph node last year, and come to find out, this autoimmune disease greatly increased the risk for LYMPHOMA., so now I'm under the care of other doctors, hoping she didn't shorten my life with her ego.

I have been seeing Dr. Turkson for over a year now as well as my husband. We think highly of her and take what she has to say important. I found her kind and caring with a great compassion and empathy. I highly recommend her as a Physician who cares greatly about her patients.

I have never visited a doctor that has so little understanding of what the real world is like. She has very little doctor patient relationship building skills. It feels like she works from a book instead of real life experience. I wouldn't let her take blood from me let alone prescribe me drugs or take care of a disease
