Dr. Nidhi Jain, MD

I have seen Dr. Jain 3 times now. I liked her at first because of her thoroughness and good beside manner ( I thought) I live 6hrs there and back to her office. I came in today with some problems I was having with my hormones ect... my doctor wants me to have a hysterectomy for various reasons so I came in since she of course specializes in hormones, thyroid ect... which I have problems with both. To my surprise she was dismissive, acted as if she was bothered by me even talking to her and snapped at me just because I asked her if I needed additional lab work since my gynecologist was wanting to give me a hysterectomy (which was one of the reasons I came to see her along with abnormal thyroid levels and low vit.D) there are hormonal reason that can cause a woman to have unnecessary hysterectomy so I wanted a second opinion. She waved her hand at me and said, "why would you need a test when your going to have a hysterectomy?" I didn't even say I was going to have one. Again just needed… her second opinion. She was very rude and did not care at all!! I didn't drive all that way just for her to be short with me and see me for less than 10min. and tell me to come back in 6 months. Maybe she was having a bad day but either way, its made me feel awful because I needed her professional advise without her also telling me she was not going to go against what another felt needed to be done , she said as well. It is called a second opinion!!! I just don't want to jump in and have surgery without that!!! I don't think that was too much to ask especially since I drove all that way. I guess if you want to see her, call and make sure shes in a good mood because if you don't' you wont be taken serious, she will be rude and treat you as if you have a lot of nerve if you ask her any questions about your health! I do however want to add that the staff was great!

I was having SO many symptoms, that me, as a lay person, knew could be thyroid, or endocrine related...and I am not a DR who has studied fully the endocrine system. However, I DO know my body and have had these before. But it seems all that wants to be looked at is "your levels". They say "you are in range", but never take time to consider all the symptoms you-personally are having. They forget I am not a number but a person. Endocrinolgist should be looking at all hormone-producing glands when severe symptoms come up. I was not heard, and not listened to, but just blown off. It is soo frustrating.

I'm glad I have finally found a doctor who will listen to me. I'm getting my health back thanks to her!!!

Dr. Jain is a warm courteous doctor. explains everything well and is caring and asks questions at appropriate times. Always very up and cheerful. Highly recommend!

Dr. Jain is awesome! She is very concerned about her patients and she will do anything she can to help you with your diabetes. She is very friendly and family oriented. Your health is her first priority!

Dr. Jain is an excellent physician. I love the fact that she actually sits down and talks "with" her patients; instead of "to" her patients. While she is excellent at what she does, her nurses (there have been 2 since I've been seeing her) have been horrible. They do not return calls and I don't believe they are giving Dr. Jain her messages to return calls from her patients. If Dr. Jain was not as good as she is, I would've probably changed doctors, simply because of her nurses.

The staff was so nice and professional and DR. Jain is wonderful
