Dr. Nidhi Kansal, MD

I saw a doctor Kansal for the first time and was very impressed She took me early and spent a total of 45 minutes with me She ordered a few test that haven’t already been done and actually put a few Notes in personally in my northwestern my chart Very warm personality I would highly recommend her

Dr Kansal was referred to me by a friend. She is by far the best doctor I’ve ever seen (I’ve seen a lot of doctors). She really listens. I never feel rushed through my appointments. She is extremely thorough. After addressing whatever I’m concerned about, she always asks additional questions and orders other tests just to keep current on my general health. She helps me with issues that I would normally have to go to specialists for - like a gynecologist or pain specialist. She handles it all. However, I also like that she easily admits if she doesn’t know something and takes time to research it and get back to me with answers or resources. Communicating with Dr Kansal is very easy. She responds quickly and thoughtfully via email (MyChart). For example, when my lab results post to my account she goes in the same day and adds at least a paragraph explaining what all the numbers mean. She also offers suggestions about medication, supplements, lifestyle choices that will help improve… the results. I’ve never had a doctor explain lab results after an appointment unless something was wrong. Dr Kansal is also very knowledgeable about and promotes alternative and Eastern medicine/practices- which is rare for a doctor. Dr Kansal takes the time to teach me how my body and medicines work and to answer all of my questions. She teaches how mental health, diet, lifestyle changes, meditation, life force energy, etc., can improve health. She is also open to learning from me as well unlike some doctors who do not value what I know about my body. She makes me feel empowered- like we are a team collaborating about medical decisions. I typically don’t write reviews but I can’t say enough about how much I love Dr Kansal.
