Dr. Nidhi S. Modi, MD

I felt that Dr. Modi was not genuinely interested in my father's condition or responsive when he suffered from moderate to severe neurological complaints and cerebral hemorrhage. Sorry, but I would not recommend.

She thinks the Hippocratic oath has made her a god. She is so condescending and makes one feel like she is doing her patient a favor to provide treatment and get them in to see her. In fact she verbalized the aforementioned Will not go back .

She has helped more in 2 years for my migraines then any other doctor. She went through all my symptoms and severely cut my headaches by 2 thirds. Thank god for her.

All I can say is we need more Doctors like her! She really shows she cares about her patients. She knows her stuff...No complaints here.

She is simply the most compassionate doctor I’ve met, but more importantly, she is very knowledgeable. She doesn’t rush appointments, is a good listener, and seeks the root cause rather than pushing pills to mask a problem. I’ve met with a handful of neurologists in the area, including U of P neurologists, and Dr. Modi was the most thorough. She helped me tremendously, and I would recommend her to anybody.

Dr. Modi has cared for my Mom post-stroke for many years. There are many things I like about her. She is very personable, she remembers my Mom's medical history, what her scans look like and other details of her care. She spends plenty of time with us--she doesn't appear to be in a rush. She is kind and warm to her patients, she smiles and makes them feel at ease. She doesn't recommend lots of unnecessary tests, she will tell you the pros and cons of various treatment and diagnostic options. Her office is run efficiently. Dr. Modi is one of my favorite MDs.

I am compelled to post these reviews to warn unsuspecting potential patients about this practitioner. She lacks empathy and insists on speaking use doctor-ese rather than explaining herself in clear terms understandable by her patient. She could not answer questions regarding test results she had just reviewed because the information was on the computer and she had logged off. I prefer medical professionals who retain my medical information for more than 30 seconds. Don't use this practitioner.
