Dr. Nidhi Tiwari, MD

Very patient and caring!

Dr. Tiwari sent me for an X-Ray referral to her affiliated hospital group, Rush Copley Medical Center. I asked and was specifically told that this center was in my health insurance network. When I received the bill for a simple X-Ray, it was over $200 out of pocket because the center was out of network. When I called back to ask why they had sent me for a referral to a location that was outside of my insurance network, they said that it wasn't their responsibility to check. Dr. Tiwari seems to have no qualms about patients getting put on the hook for expensive hospital bills as long as she get the benefit of referring patients to her affiliated hospital group. I would also add that she spent less than 5 minutes examining me for a full annual physical exam and then billed my insurance company over $230 for those 5 minutes. I will never go back to see her again. If you don't like receiving surprise medical bills or being rushed out of her office after a superficial examination, I… highly recommend that you seek out another doctor.

Very thorough and has Saturday office hours which is very convenient!

Its easy to get DR. Tiwari's appointment. Staff are really good. But unfortunately Dr is not capable of giving medical options to the patients. She do not spend much time to the patient.

Dr. Tiwari made decisions for my medical care based on her own belief of what I could afford, rather than presenting viable options to me. This limited my care and I was tremendously offended. If you want your medical care to be biased and not based on the best possible outcome, then definately see this doctor!
