Dr. Nihal Kishorbhai Shah, MD

I have been treating with Dr. Shah, for the last 3 years or more. Dr. Shah, is very understanding as compassionate about each and everyone of his patients. I waited what seems to be a lifetime to find a Dr.as good as him.

One of the best DR's I have had,a good man who is kind,honest,who listens to the patient.More iimportantly he's helped me with my addiction I've fought with for fifteen years.I have a life again,Thank you Dr Shaw and God bless.

I've seen Dr Shah in Windmoor only.He is honest and caring.One of best people I've ever met and one of the best Dr's.Bruce Taylor.

I love Dr Shah, but I have never in my life experienced so many incompetent medical office staff in the same practice, it really has to be experienced to be believed.

Dr. Shah is a young friendly psychiatrist. I have been seeing different psychiatrists for 31 years He works with the patient and prefers to use limited meds that are effective and not overmedicate. He has seen me on emergency appt when the combination was not working. I am very pleased with Dr. Shah and his promptness to scheduled time appointment is respectful and a breath of fresh air compared to Tampa Bay's psychiatric community.!

This doctor is awesome. I have suffered from Bi-Polar disorder for over 20 years. Dr Shaw is one of the friendliest doctors out there. He cares how you are doing, and he is very easy to talk to. I would recommend him to anyone. However, the staff at this business is terrible. I've been going to this doctor's office for over 2 years, and I have never seen the girl at the front desk smile. She is so rude, and dealing with her is unbearable. If the doctor was not nice, I would have found another doctors office a long time ago. If you can't pay all of your bill right up front, she gives you a major attitude. I think she should get another job because she doesn't understand the concept of customer service. I think the doctor's are insane for keeping her on staff. She always sits to the right of the office. She wears glasses, and she is very unattractive. Maybe she would look better if she smiled. Her attitude makes her look extremely ugly. Not that looks are important but if you are in a… customer service job a smile is required, Isn't it?

Very caring of his patients. Expert is the use of ECT for appropriately selected patients. Highly recommended by me a registered nurse.

Dr. Shah is thorough and insightful. He is very knowledgeable about managing medications, and got me on track. He knows more about how to combine various meds than my internist. I have been to Shah for about a year now, so have a good picture of how he works. He tries various meds, that you agree to, or that you may suggest, and evaluated, then make a decision from there. The process is repeated until the things are working. He has offered other alternatives available at the clinic but psychiatrists seem to focus on medication management for most of us these days. He does that very well in my opinion.
