Dr. Nika Hettlinger is originally from Huntington, WV and happy to be back serving the community where she grew up. She graduated from Cabell Midland High School in 2000. She then attended West Virginia Wesleyan College for her freshman year and continued at West Liberty State College, receiving her Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene. Dr. Hettlinger attended the West Virginia University School of Dentistry and graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery in May 2007 and joined Dr. Butler in July of 2007. In June 2007, Dr. Hettlinger married her husband Marc, a resident physician with Marshall University, specializing in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Hettlinger is a member of several dental organizations including: American Dental Association, West Virginia Dental Association and the Young Guns Study Club. Dr. Hettlinger is also the Secretary/Treasurer of the Huntington Dental Society. She has also received an associate fellowship within the World Clinical Laser Institute.
Dr. Hettlinger is …an active member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church. She and her husband spend most of their free time with their families and enjoy mountain biking and golfing. In the fall they spend the majority of their time watching football and traveling to Morgantown to cheer on the Mountaineers.
