Dr. Nikan H. Khatibi is an award-winning physician, published medical journal author and neurosciences researcher. He completed his residency training in Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine with a sub-concentration in Neuroanesthesia. Dr. Khatibi is presently an Interventional Pain Medicine Fellow at the Center for Pain Management at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Southern California.

An inclusive and tenacious advocate for physicians and patients, Dr. Khatibi serves on the Board of Trustees for the California Medical Association, Executive Leadership Team for the American Heart Association, and volunteers to treat Southern California’s underserved at the Orange County Rescue Mission’s Hurtt Family Medical Clinic. He also serves as Loma Linda’s Planning Commissioner, working on a number of city-wide projects including the development of the 400,000 sqft Veterans Affairs Medical Clinics as well as the expansion of the Loma Linda University Medical Center campuses. In his spare time, Dr. Khatibi genuinely enjoys engaging and mentoring young students wishing to pursue careers in STEM fields - science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
