Dr. Lath was amazing. He was compassionate and understanding of my situation. He was very reassuring and confident that everything would go well. I was diagnosed with severe anemia due to a cancerous mass in my colon that was slowly bleeding. Dr. Lath was able to remove a section of my colon robotically and provide an ostomy while I recovered. Approximately 8 months later he reversed the procedure robotically. My recovery from both surgeries was quick and thanks to his intervention there is currently no spreading of the cancer. My outcome could have been entirely different if it wasn't for him. It's great to know that such great surgeons and this type of technology is available in the suburbs (Silver Cross Hospital - New Lenox). Most people believe you need to go into the city for this type of care. Thank you so much Dr. Lath.

Dr. Lath is amazing. He performed a Colonoscopy on me one day, then was the surgeon performing a Colon Resection the following day (I had Diverticulitis, with micro perforations). Dr. Lath is always friendly, very professional, and more than willing to answer questions. The surgery went much better than I anticipated. He was able to do it using robotics; there was minimal pain, and there will be very minimal scaring. Nothing but the highest of praises for Dr. Lath, and his incredible team!!!
