Dr. Niketa Shashikant Dani, MD

The worst doctor ever encountered. Patient was hospitalized for 8 days with CHF. Follow up with Dr. Dani. She gives the all clear even with complaints of shortness of breath and low blood pressure. Ended up in ER less than 12 hours later and hospitalized for additional 7 days. Had to go back to Dr Dani for follow up to get handicap parking pass. She decided to over ride the cardiologist order for hole Healthcare which enables patient to have real time tracking of daily vitals via a tablet. Dr Dani said “ never heard of that and home health is only if you can’t drive”. She is incompetent and dangerous. Said that she didn’t feel the LifeVest which protects against sudden cardiac death wasn’t necessary - again - because the patient can walk just fine? CHF with EF of 20%. She doesn’t read the labs and goes off of how a person looks?!? Avoid this doctor if you want to live.

I felt that Dr. Dani asked the right questions and gave direct answers. Was very kind to my mother and took as much time that was needed .

She was rude and patronizing. Did not pay attention to detail. Hostile towards lyme/tick-borne diseases. I would not bring my PET to be seen by her.

Dr. Dani is a wonderful doctor. I was surprised to read all negative comments. I found Dr. Dani very personable and thorough in her evaluation of my health status. She certainly evaluated my health well.

She said that a 16 month old is supposed to be saying a minimum of a few hundred words, which is off by a few hundred.

I seriously question her qualifications. Talked down to me because my daughter is on medicaid. I caught her pushing things on my daughter to appease medicaid, even though its less healthy for her.

Talked down to is the entire time. Was wrong with most of the things she said. Treated us like garbage. I've never experienced anything like this before.

Just a poor grasp of medicine, it seems. Can FMC do no better?

We schedule our appointments as early in the day as possible. Our last appointment was scheduled weeks in advance, and set for 10:15 am, we got there 10 minutes early and were taken back after waiting justs a few minutes. We waited until 11:00 before we packed up and left, the doctor was just coming in to see us, we asked how long it would take and she (the doctor) would be out in like 5-10 minutes, but it would take like a half hour to get shots ready. So I'm expected to wait over an hour for a simple appointment. It happened more then once.
