Dr. Nikhil Inamdar, MD

I would recommend Dr. Inamdar because he seems very knowledgeable about his profession. He always answers my questions and takes care of my problem. My only complaint is the time it takes for him to come to the treatment room. My most recent visit was at 1:00 pm but I still had to wait approximately 15 more minutes in the room before he came in to the room I was in. Otherwise, I have nothing negative to say about him.

Explained the procedure and what they are looking for and made me feel at ease about the process.

I would highly recommend Dr. Inamdar. Both he and his staff were very attentive and very professional.

Inamdar is good doctor. I've never had problems with him. It's just that they make you wait a longtime when they put you in a room. In my opinion, they should not put you in a room unless the Dr. is ready to see you instead of making you wait up to an hour. The staff can be rude at times.

This is best doctor I have ever met. Very through, smart, professional and efficient will make sure everything is done correctly and timely. Will follow up on you and will call other doctors to make sure you get a referral appointment when needed. He will return your phone call. I went to him thinking and I have problems and my colon. He immediately had a CAT scan performed and within 3 days, I had an appointment with him the next business day, had refer in 2 days and surgery in a week later. Save my Life. Pre-cancer.

After my first appointment with Dr. Inamdar I decided I will definitely be finding another doctor to see. I had a lengthy wait in the office. Had to re-do paperwork (that I already filled out on the "patient portal". Then had another long wait in the exam room. Dr. Inamdar did not make eye contact with me and almost immediately suggested that I undergo a colonoscopy. Luckily the symptoms of my Crohn's Disease are quite manageable with good diet and regular Remicade infusions, so I told him I did not think that would be necessary. He was then very brief and concluded our meeting shortly (all without making eye contact). Although he scheduled me for my Remicade infusion by the proper date, I was not at all pleased with this doctor. I have struggled with Crohn's Disease almost my entire life, so I've seen many doctors, and I got a very bad vibe from Dr. Inamdar. I fear that he is the kind of doctor who would put patients through procedures that are not entirely… necessary. I never got the feeling that he was at all concerned with my health personally. He seemed very detached. As if all that wasn't enough to make me feel creeped out: I absolutely could not find the lab where I was supposed to get my blood work done. I agreed to some pretty standard blood tests- check everything out. But three different staff members gave me different directions for the clinic to have my blood drawn. To sum it up: Creepy doctor. Inconvenient location. Inefficient check-in. There are way too many skilled and compassionate doctors in the Houston area for anyone to have to settle for a doctor like Nikhil V Inamdar.

My Mom has Ulceritis Colitis and was taken into the ER due to severe pain in the rectum and Stomach. Doctor didn't show up until the next day to look at her. All he did was prescribe pain meds, sent her to Long Term Care Facility to heal, then he disappeared on Vacation for THREE weeks. My Mom was bleeding consistenly all three weeks and nobody did anything except medicate her. No tests were taken, no scans were done, no NOTHING!! My mom is STILL in the Long Term Care facility being medicated and ignored by her doctor (This Doctor!) He is Still on vacation and who knows when he will be back!!

Dr demanded I undergo colon resesction and if I didn't I could die or live with colostomy bag! Started with Diverticulitis now I have acute diverticulitis after this life saving(according to DR.)surgery was performed.New doctor is controlling it with meds ,no surgery! Now after all of this find out that I have pancreatic issues ( Dr Inamdir could figure this out but was aware that I had extreme diarrhea issues for over a year since gall bladder removal which resulted in diverticulitis over 1 year)and they are still working to get everything back to normal but at least now I am getting better. Maybe if he had bother doing blood tests instead of screaming about surgery I wouldn't have had surgery.The answer to a patients symptoms should only be a last resort option not the first. Now days I am bedridden half of the time and cant even wear zip up pants!
