Dr Nikhil Lavana DMD, BDS
Dr Nikhil Lavana graduated from the Boston University Goldman School of Dentistry In the year 2000 with honors. He is a graduate of Pune university's Bharti Vidyapeeth 's Dental College with honors in year 1995. He did 2 years of Masters program in Dental Biomaterials at Marquette University Dental School, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is an active member of American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society and its local affiliate, Worcester Dental Society. He is also a part of the local Spears Study Club.
Dr Lavana takes great pride in practicing dentistry. He likes to be on the cutting edge of dental technology and that is the reason the practice offers Single visit crown technology (CEREC), Lasers (WATERLASE MD from BIOLASE) used for restorations without anesthesia, especially in children and periodontal surgeries with quick healing results . Dr Lavana has logged a lot of continuing education hours to master these technologies and is an certified expert …in the field . He is comfortable doing all aspects of general dentistry including veneers and cosmetic work, implant restorations, crown and bridge, root canal treatments, extractions besides the tooth colored fillings.
He is certified in INVISALIGN ( invisible braces) and is on the preferred provider list for providing the treatment.
Dr Lavana is also very gentle and compassionate in his way towards the patients That is the reason the considerable portion of his patient pool are children .
In his future endeavors Dr Lavana is committed to completing Dr Frank Spears workshops in aesthetic dentistry , and is working toward his Fellowship with the American Association of General Dentistry.
On a personal front , Dr Lavana has a keen interest in sports and movies, you can engage in conversation with him on any kind of sports.
