Dr. Nikhil Anil Shetty, MD

I fell and fractured my L3. I was in pain for a year.Dr. Shetty did an ablazon,and the pain is almost completely gone. My husband went to him for pain in his knees, and he is really helping him. I definately recommend him for pain relief.

Dr. Shetty is very polite, pleasant and professional. When I went in I couldn't even sit without squirming. He listened and took many notes. My first set of injections didn't work because, in my opinion, he was doing what the orthopedic drs. thought I needed. The second set of injections were put in my sacrum, where Dr. Shetty determined that was the right place. Well, 2 weeks later and not only can I sit without pain, get out of bed without pain, clean house and golf. Let's hope it lasts as there really are no guarentees. But right now I feel great. The staff is very friendly

Dr. Shetty was my third doctor I saw for my back pain, still in pain seven months after my surgery. He was honest telling me that an EMG will tell him whether or not he can help me. Dr. Shetty was the only doctor willing to do a test to see what he could do - the only one of three doctors. He didn’t jump to “Let’s try a shot of this.” I have to see a neurologist for my medical needs as this is a whole different animal now that the test result is in. I trusted Dr. Shetty and am glad that I did!

Was sent to Dr. Shetty by my spine doctor. During my first visit he showed me my MRI and explain what was the cause of my pain. He recommend a steroid shot to L4 and L5/S1. My procedure was set for the next week. Before during and after the procedure everyone there was very courteous to me. There was very little pain and he always let me know what was happening and making sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure. It has been 2 weeks and I have been pain free since I received the shots.

Every time I have an appointment with Dr. Shetty he is very pleasant by shaking my hand. He looks me in the eyes while talking with me and not just into his computer. I really appreciate that in a physician. He explains in detail what his plan is with my care and things that i may be able to do to assist in my health in general. There is always a final question if there is anything else he could do for me. Where do I find other physicians like him. I recommend anyone that needs a pain specialist that is conservative but effective to see him as their physician.
