Dr. Nikita Hegde, MD

I've had rheumatoid for 22+ years. ALL treatments have failed with most recently a second try at methotrexate which caused heart failure. She doesn't believe it nor does she believe the biologics have severe side effects. Yet refused methylprednisolone (which does help) due to bad side effects. She said none of her other patients experienced anything like I did nor did it happen in her office. I have no words for this. I'm again without a rheumatologist.

She listens and understands the needs of her patients. I would recommend her to everyone suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Nikita Hegde does not listen, care or have any regard for information from the patient or other doctors involved. She lacks knowledge, but worse, makes No effort to find out or even look at the areas of concern to get an idea of what is happening to the patient. Not only does she not want to help suffering patients, who come to her for help with existing issues, she allows new conditions to evolve that could have easily been prevented. She should treat patients as she would like to be treated. If she doesn't want to help people, she should get out of the medical profession.

The best rheumatologist!

First and last visit to this doctor. I was told I would get meds for my pain, and was told no meds! Was referred to Spine & Pain to get meds, again they said no. This is the same with all doctors, afraid to give out pain meds for fear we will overdose. I might overdose from the lack of pain relief!!!
