Dr. Nikita Chandrakan Shah, MD

Appears not to have time to answer questions or spend time with you. Seems to be very busy and you are simply a number. This was my experience from my very first apppointment and I decided not to use her as my Oncologist.

I am very happy with Dr Shah - she is a very knowledgeable physician, always greets me with a smile and a hug, she is easy to talk to, compassionate, thorough, and the type of doctor you're lucky to have on your team! She takes the proper time to explain detailed test results in a way I can comprehend, she is prompt, and her support staff are always courteous, helpful and thorough. I have been seeing Dr Shah for almost three years and the past year has been actively in treatment for chemo due to recurrence of breast cancer. The treatment plan she has me on is with the latest drugs found to be successful for my type of cancer: the level of success differs depending on each person of ciurse but my last scan was clear so YaY!! Dr Shah watches me closely so I feel she is on top of this for me! I would highly recommend her and her team to anyone!

Dr. Shah is the greatest doctor and she has the patience and temperament for the difficult patients like me; in denial, refusing initial treatments, etc. She spends time with you and make sure every little symptom that bothers you is checked out. I recommend her to every woman diagnosed with cancer.
