A board-certified physician assistant, Nikki Newman brings more than a decade of experience in urgent and primary care to Beaufort Memorial Lowcountry Medical Group Primary Care. Earlier, she worked as a physician assistant in several local urgent care clinics and at Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie, Georgia, treating illness and injury in patients of all ages.
Mrs. Newman received Beaufort Memorial's 2023 Provider of the Year Bemmy Award, an honor bestowed for exemplary performance and adherence to organizational values.
Growing up in Albany, Wisconsin, on a farm that two generations of her family had owned and worked, she has long Midwestern roots. These days, she finds living by the water and the Lowcountry’s gentle pace an irresistible mix.
Mrs. Newman and her husband, Paul, are the proud parents of a son whom they adopted after 21 years of marriage. Mother and son love baking together and sharing their homemade sweets.
