Dr. Nikola Yuliev Lozanov, MD

This doctor is very arrogant. If you even attempt to ask any questions regarding anything, he will immediately cut you from his practice. It's rather shady. He will not discuss results with you, he has off his office call you. They are not nurses, they are office management staff. Well, his wife, actually. There is also no privacy in his office. He discusses private stuff in front of other patients. It's the way his office is set up, there's no getting around him talking to his staff about your needs without other patients hearing. Absolutely do not recommend this doctor!

Dr Lozanov is totally dedicated to the health and well being of his patients. His office and staff are welcoming and efficient. You are not rushed and the doctor explains, educates and informs with empathy and concern. I am happy to have him as my doctor.

Dr L. Spent much time with me. He is interested in my physical well being as well as my emotional/ mental well being. He considered my personal finances. He is kind . He is not unreachable in that he shows compassion. He is a down to earth .

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Lozanov. I switched Doctors when I got a misdiagnosis from a new Family Practitioner in town . My In-Laws recommended I go see Dr. L for good reason. Dr. L felt a lump in my Father in Law's abdomen, which turned out to be cancer. The important point here is that my Father In Law. had been to see Specialists that did not detect this! For my visits, Dr. Lozanov has been thorough & thoughtful. He is a gifted Diagnotician. He ordered specific blood work for me & there was the problem! He was very helpful with my options for treatment & open to help treating me with homeopathically. My whole family goes to see him now!!! Lisa, the nice receptionist, is an added bonus.

I'm surprised to see all the nagative feedback. I have been seeing him for a few years now and never had any problums. He does offer vitamins I was find with me because it saved me a trip to the store. I was also impressed that we gave me sample medacation that would of cost me a lot of money. I have a very high deductible insurance policy so that was so helpful. I find him and his staff very helpful and friendly.

Should have listened to my gut(*see below). Pre-appt phone (screening?) questions, repeated @ 1st visit: "was I there for pain medicine?" when I CLEARLY stated, a number of times, pain was not my concern (pain is not ever related to the condition I suffered from, merely fatigue) After each appt--unprof. RUDE receptionist, lights in office were always off (!??!),no other patients as I came or left (ea. time). Then this doctor recomm a surgery which I DID NOT NEED. The fault was 1st w/me. WHY DID I PERSIST IN GIVING THIS A CHANCE? *This doc was recom by another doc, so I was too trusting! (Shudda/woudda/coudda asked why other doc recommend. but since Dr. Loz prev worked w/him I guessed Dr. L was going off on his own. Stupid guess. Never want to see EITHER of them again.Now? So happy w/my new doc it's creepy to even think about my experience with "Dr." Loz. After a significant time to reflect I still feel the need to give this person a bad review. The first one I have ever given,… and it gives me no satisfaction.

I liked Dr Lozanov at first and he seemed to spent time to figure out what was really wrong with you instead of just a quick diagnosis and a prescription like a lot of other doctors. Now he just doesn't seem to do much and tries to push vitamins and different medications on my elderly father. He just recommended micronutrient testing which he has done in his office. A quick search on the internet seems to show no scientific basis for this test. Either he's easily scammed or he's scamming his patients

Sorry to say Dr. Lozanov is not a doctor you want to use. He has cased me alot of pain and discomfort that should never have happened, I became very anemic, needed exspensive shots, blood pressure become extremely too low and I was within inches of going on Dialysis all because of meds he prescripted for me. I kept asking if it was the meds and he said No. Guess what ? After I got off the meds fortunately things turned around and my kidneys are better but not where they were when I first went to him. So please do not use this so called Doctor if you value your health!

Don't agree with the lack of over-all care = zero!

I visited Dr. Lozanov due to high anxiety and some depression problems. My intentions were to get a couple of names of psychiatrist to speak to and to do physical because it had been some time. After meeting with Dr. Lozanov for a matter of five minutes and briefly telling him of my issues he quickly recommeneded the anti-depressent Budeprion. I was very apprehensive because I have never taken a anti-depressent and that was not my initial plan. While talking to me he made very little eye contact and was searching for available drugs on his i-phone. That should have been a red flag. He did not take a proper amount of time to get to know me and was using his i-phone to find drugs to recommend to me. Yet, much to my apprehension I decided to give it a shot. Dr. told me it would be good for me, help me deal with stress in a better fashion. Yet, what he did not tell me is the laundry list of side affects that have adversely affected many, many people who have taken that drug. Furthermore he… made zero mention of any major side affects which I asked him about. After two weeks of taking the "drugs" I was hit with a permanent side effect due to the Budeprion, Tinitus, permanent ringing in my ear, and loss of 50% of my hearing in my left ear. At first I thought I was extremely unlucky and that is why this happened to myself. Then I became curious and started to do some research on Buderprion and found that Tinitus is a major side affect and there are hundred of thousands of people with major life long side effects because of Buderprion. So if you want to visit a doctor who does not take the time to listen to his patients and get to know his patients before recommending a drug that could be life changing, then by all means visit this doctor. But if you want good professional care, I was highly advise you to visit someone else!
